Wedding Shower Cakes

Wedding showers can be very stressful for any hostess. This cake was designed by an artist - my sister! The bride's colors were white, silver and red.

And the inspiration for the cake was the invitations she designed and sells on her etsy website (http://www.etsy.com/shop/2cutenot2share). She is a loving mother and wife, not to mention wonderful sister and best friend! I love my sis!

Treasure Island

I made this cake for one of the sweetest little boys! Andrew had a batman cake for his 5th and now this one! His mom and I have known each other since highschool. I also made a frog cake for his big sis! Love that family!

Baby Bump

Well, if this picture doesn't make you want a baby then you don't have a heart! I really need someone to have another baby so I can make another one! I just LOVE it!

This Little Piggy

This BEAUTIFUL little girl that I know turned 1 and I made this piggy cake for her birthday. As cute as this pig is, it pales in comparison to the birthday girl! Sadie makes my heart melt! I love this family so much! I will miss them when they move to Florida in a few months!

Sweet Arts

Well, I am going to try to do this blog more consistently AGAIN!

I have been pushed into doing something by my sweet sister who probably doesn't even KNOW that she is the reason I am doing it! My sister posted some pictures of cakes that I made and I immediately was in business! I now am making up to FOUR cakes per week and LOOOOOVE IT! Thank you sis for putting me in this position so that I can work on a dream that I have had for years! You are the best! With that said, here are some of my cakes...

Spongebob and Hello Kitty...what is better? Spongebob is not a show I have ever enjoyed, but I love him as a cake! And what little girl didn't love Hello Kity at some point?

Slug Bug - You're It

So this is the slug bug cake I made for my sweet little girl's double digit day...
She looks so stinkin cute with her huge wig and momma's dress on! I just love it! She and her friends had a blast running and dancing and playing! And nothing was broken! So cool!
Annalyse has such a great group of friends and is such a sweet girl! It makes me so sad that she is growing up so fast! I just want her to stay little forever!!! : (

R2D2...U R 2 Cute!

Well, I did it! I made another R2D2 and he is WAY cute! I just love it! This time it was for a little boy instead of my daughter so it was really cute to see his reaction. He had to touch it to see if it was really cake...lol! Boys are so different than girls! (yes, sis I know that you know this)

Now I am making a Spongebob cake and that is really odd for me since I don't have any children who liked the show. If things work out like I plan, then it should be pretty cute too! : )

Well, back to my glass of wine and the cake pans!
